Level 2 Information, Advice or Guidance
The Level 2 Information, Advice or Guidance qualification has been developed for learners working in this field to share good practice and build confidence in their ability to effectively fulfil their role as providers of advice and guidance.
The qualification will help learners to develop an understanding of the requirements of the Information, Advice or Guidance practice and aid them in guiding those that they are supporting to make informed choices.
Modules:
Unit 1: Developing interaction skills for information, advice or guidance
Unit 2: Information, advice or guidance in practice
Unit 3: Information, advice or guidance work with groups
Unit 4: Managing information
Unit 5: Signposting and referral — information, advice or guidance
IAG (Information Advice and Guidance courses)
Level 3 City and Guilds Certificate in Advice and Guidance
18 months on site and remote assessment (can be completed sooner)
Will soon be a requirement in the Careers Service and for Training Academies and all SFA funded prime contractors - £2000 or fundable via Apprenticeship Levy or Adult Learner Responsive funding
Level 4 City and Guilds NVQ Diploma in Information Advice and Guidance - £3500
18 months on site and remote assessment
